We are seeking a Quality Assistant to join our team! You will conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. A Key function will be completing, reviewing and approving first article inspection reports.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
• Ability to interpret the blueprint and its requirements.
• Excellent record keeping ability
• Understanding of tolerances
• Ability to interpret the blueprint and its requirements.
• Understand customer expectations
• Train and assist quality team for the technical information
• Verify Compliance to drawing requirement when necessary
• Excellent record keeping ability
• Thorough understanding of the tolerances
• Ability to interact with other departments such as production and engineering team
• Assist upper management when necessary
• Assist in investigating and correcting quality related issues including customer complaints
• Participate in customer audits and inspections and corrective action reports
• Perform other duties directed by Quality Management
• Verify internal and external FAI documents for accuracy, and completeness
• Prioritize inspection task to meet customer due date requirement
• Finalize FAI reports , review and prepare for submission
• Prepare final inspection reports as required and organize for future reference
• Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
• Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
• Participate in routine visual inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields
• AS9100 and ISO 9001 Experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
