About the Company

A well-established wholesale importer and distributor of seasonal décor, home accents, and gift items is seeking a high-potential individual to join the company in a management-track role.

The company supplies retailers across the United States, including discount chains, independent stores, gift shops, and seasonal retailers. Its product assortment includes holiday décor, artificial florals, home decorations, and gift merchandise.

This position is designed for someone who wants to learn the wholesale business from the ground up and grow into leading a product division.

Position Overview

This is a high-visibility role working directly with company leadership. The selected candidate will gain hands‑on experience across multiple areas of the wholesale operation, building both commercial and operational expertise.

You will rotate through and actively contribute to:

  • Sales and account development
  • Product sourcing and purchasing
  • Product development and merchandising
  • Inventory management and operations
  • Building and managing retail relationships

Over time, the goal is for this individual to take ownership of a product category or division and drive its growth, profitability, and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with leadership to learn and support all aspects of the wholesale business
  • Assist in managing product categories and seasonal programs
    , from planning through execution
  • Support sales efforts
    , including communication with retail buyers and wholesale customers
  • Identify opportunities for new products and product lines based on market trends and customer demand
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers on sourcing, pricing, and purchasing decisions
  • Track sales performance and analyze product demand
    , using data to inform strategy
  • Contribute to expanding new accounts and developing product divisions
  • Assist in inventory planning and operational coordination
  • Participate in strategic discussions related to growth initiatives and product expansion
