Job OverviewAs an Administrative Support Team (AST) Colleague, you ensure that the store runs smoothly behind the scenes. You maintain an organized Store Management Office, support daily operations, and coordinate internal communications. Your responsibilities include overseeing scheduling, managing cash office operations, facilitating the new‑hire onboarding process, supporting colleague engagement, maintaining store recognition programs, distributing reports, balancing the vault, and supporting maintenance requests.
You are the primary point of contact for both store colleagues and leadership, acting as an HR liaison and ensuring a well‑organized, professional store environment.
Full‑time colleagues are typically scheduled for thirty or more hours per week, while part‑time colleagues are scheduled for twelve to twenty‑four hours per week. All schedules include weekend shifts. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain an organized Store Management Office and keep all office supplies and documentation up to date.
- Handle administrative and human‑resources functions, including new‑hire paperwork, onboarding, and training sessions.
- Coordinate internal communications and serve as a liaison for HR‑related matters.
- Oversee scheduling and manage cash office operations.
- Support colleague engagement initiatives and maintain store recognition programs.
- Distribute regular reports, balance the vault, and support maintenance requests.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong communication skills with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
- Comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Resourceful and eager to start new ventures; adaptable to changing priorities; able to work independently and with a team.
- Comfortable handling electronic devices.
- One to two years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements
- Talk, lift, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
- Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 25 lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
- Reaching, including above eye level.
- Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, to process register transactions.
