Seasonal Retail Sales - Men's Apparel - Menlo Park

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital selling using selling tools (text and social media).
• Build lasting relationships with customers and provide the best service on their terms.
• Give honest and confident feedback to customers about style and fit.
• Seek fashion and product knowledge to build expertise.
• Work with the team to keep the department customer-ready: filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning.
• Grow relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.

The hours and schedule for this position will vary by week depending on business needs. This role may require you to be flexible to occasionally perform work or duties in a department other than the one you were hired into.

Continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers. Regularly lift items weighing up to 25 pounds. Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling, and lifting bulky or awkwardly shaped items.

Hourly: $16.15

Commission:
Apparel, shoes, and accessories sales range from 3% to 14.5%;
Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales typically receive 3%.
