99 Ranch Market is now hiring a Merchandising Assistant to support our merchandising department in a large Asian grocery retail corporation.

As a Merchandising Assistant, you will play a crucial role in optimizing product placement, managing inventory, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

• Respond promptly and professionally to incoming phone calls and emails from vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Assist in revising and managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Follow up on backorders, claims, and contracts to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to address merchandising‑related issues and provide necessary support.
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to update product information, pricing, and promotions on various platforms.
• Perform general administrative tasks to support the department’s day‑to‑day operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin is preferred.
• Familiarity with seafood products, cultural preferences, and market trends is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and vendors.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to interpret data and make data‑driven decisions.
• Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for visual presentation and product placement.
• Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced retail environment and work well under pressure.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

The pay range for this job is between $19 and $22 per hour. Compensation may vary based on responsibilities, education, skills, experience, and location.
