Color Mixer Specialist

Sherwin Williams is seeking a Color Mixer Specialist to join our Retail Customer Service & Support team. In this role, you'll mix and match paint colors, advise customers on coatings and finishes, and ensure accurate, timely tinting for retail and professional orders. You'll operate color-matching and tinting equipment, maintain inventory and tinting records, and uphold store merchandising and safety standards. Working in a culture of diversity, inclusion, and collaboration, you'll build product knowledge through hands-on experience and support the sales team in delivering an exceptional in-store customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately mix and tint paint orders to customer specifications using color-matching equipment
• Assist customers with product selection, finishes, and application recommendations
• Operate tinting machines, shakers, and related equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain tinting area cleanliness, equipment upkeep, and accurate tinting records
• Support counter sales and retail operations, including POS transactions and returns
• Monitor and replenish tint bases, colorants, and related inventory
• Follow all safety, chemical handling, and store security procedures
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve store service and sales goals
• Help merchandise shelves, signage, and product displays to company standards
• Participate in ongoing training to expand product and color expertise
