Get To Know The Role

The Outside Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and promoting a range of material handling solutions. This role demands a results‑driven individual who excels at building customer relationships, assessing client needs, and offering tailored solutions to maximize operational efficiency and productivity.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify, prospect, and generate new leads within assigned territories.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Promote and sell material handling products and solutions, including forklifts, aerial lifts and more.
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular follow‑ups and visits to assess evolving customer needs.
  • Provide technical and consultative support to customers, ensuring the proposed solutions meet their operational needs.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate proposals, quotes, and contracts for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and forecasts in CRM software.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in material handling, industrial equipment, or related industries.
  • Experience with solution‑based selling and complex sales cycles.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to learn complex product details.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Must Haves
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within the sales territory.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
