Position SummaryThe Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing and growing sales within an assigned territory by developing relationships with food service equipment dealers, distributors, restaurant supply companies, chain accounts, and consultants. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving revenue growth. This position requires frequent travel throughout New Jersey and the New York Metro market.
Key Responsibilities Territory Management- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Maintain regular in‑person visits with dealers, distributors, and key accounts.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout the territory.
- Build strong relationships with food service equipment dealers and decision‑makers.
- Promote Dukers' complete line of refrigeration and commercial cooking equipment.
- Conduct product presentations and sales training for dealers and sales teams.
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and customer referrals.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Work closely with customer service and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist customers with product selection, specifications, pricing, and sales opportunities.
- Support dealer growth initiatives and sales promotions.
- Attend industry trade shows, dealer events, and customer meetings.
- Represent Dukers professionally in the marketplace.
- Develop relationships with consultants, designers, and food service operators.
- Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience selling commercial food service equipment, refrigeration, cooking equipment, or related food service products.
- Established relationships with food service equipment dealers, restaurant supply companies, consultants, within the New Jersey and/or New York Metro market.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a sales territory.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout the territory.
- Experience selling through dealer and distributor channels.
- Experience with commercial refrigeration and cooking equipment.
- Experience using Salesforce CRM.
- Strong relationship‑building abilities.
