The Account Manager’s role is to ensure the achievement of a sales target within the given territory. The Account Manager will report to the District Sales Director and manage assigned account(s). The Account Manager is expected to develop and implement sales plans to drive business growth within the assigned accounts.
Must live in Central New Jersey.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of sequencing/ next-generation sequencing and genomics required.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, and strong business acumen required
  • 2+ years of life science sales experience utilizing genomics-related technologies preferred.
  • Proven track record of success generating new customer leads and driving business growth preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, establish, and execute strategic sales plans tailored to the territory and specific accounts, aligning with budget objectives and financial growth targets, under the guidance and mentorship of the District Sales Director.
  • Maintain an understanding and knowledge of the company’s products and services to provide accurate information to clients and key stakeholders.
  • Manage existing accounts, expand the customer base in the territory, and develop profitable long-term accounts.
  • Participate in sales activities and attend events/ conferences, as planned by the sales leadership.
  • Maintain CRM database with up-to-date information.
  • Understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs, and inform the internal stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties related to sales and territory management as assigned.
  • 50% travel/ field-based activities required.
Location

Remote position, with travel on average 2-3 days per week within the assigned territory.
Must live in Central New Jersey.

Compensation

The salary is dependent on your qualifications, relevant experience, and location.

$75K to $100k base salary plus performance-based incentives.
