To thrive as a Pro Sales Associate, you must be approachable, organized, and genuinely interested in helping our customers. Some basic computer skills are necessary to use our customer management software. An outgoing personality with a positive attitude will help you start conversations with strangers and being a self-starter will be useful as well so you can jump in and help wherever you see a need.

You don't need any previous experience or knowledge in paint or sales. We'll teach you everything you need to know, which makes this a perfect starting point to launch your career.

As a Pro Sales Associate at Behr, you’ll work in a Home Depot store as a sales specialist focusing on professional painting contractors and their unique needs. You will meet and form relationships with local pros, collaborate with them to ensure they receive the right products, mix paint, provide tools, and facilitate a quick in‑and‑out experience. Your work hours may vary based on peak selling times, including weekends, holidays, and shifts that extend until 7p.m.

Responsibilities
  • Approach and engage contractors and professional customers with a positive attitude.
  • Maintain relationships with pros in the store and follow up on their jobs and future needs.
  • Collaborate with Behr’s outside sales reps and Home Depot staff to pull, tint, and provide paint orders.
  • Handle occasional lifting of up to 75lbs and ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Enter new leads and contacts into Salesforce (or similar CRM) and update customer information.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (required).
  • Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills; prior experience with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Bilingual preferred but not required.
