The Assistant Team Lead supports the Team Lead in ensuring daily operations run smoothly, sales goals are met, and Soleil Tans’ core values are upheld. This role provides leadership coverage when the Team Lead is not present, while maintaining personal sales accountability and coaching partners to perform at a high level.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

Ensure every guest interaction aligns with Soleil Tans’ brand promise: “Love your experience, or let us know, we will make it right.”

Deliver consistent, professional, and personalized service.

Reinforce service standards, including probing, upselling, and delivering solutions that fulfill guest needs.

Sales Performance

Meet and exceed personal sales goals for memberships, products, and upgrades.

Support the Team Lead by monitoring and driving shift-level sales performance.

Encourage and coach partners to maximize sales opportunities.

Leadership Support

Act as shift leader in the absence of the Team Lead.

Provide guidance, feedback, and accountability to other partners.

Support onboarding and training for new hires.

Model professional behavior and uphold all company standards.

Operational Duties

Oversee daily operations, including equipment checks, sanitization, and store readiness.

Monitor compliance with all Soleil Tans policies & procedures.

Ensure adherence to scheduling, opening/closing duties, and store standards.

Assist with opening, closing, and shift management.

Escalate operational or guest issues to management when necessary.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of leadership/sales experience in a similar environment.

Demonstrated sales success, with proven ability to close memberships and upsell products.

Reliable, organized, and able to manage shift-level leadership responsibilities.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Consistently meets or exceeds performance expectations.

Demonstrates initiative without being asked.

Weekend and evening availability required.

Compensation

Starting Rate: $18/hour

Raise: $20/hour within one year upon successful completion of training.

Bonuses: $1–$4/hour through sales bonus program.

Tips:
Average $100/month.

Total earning potential: $20–$24+ per hour.

Growth Path

Strong performance and demonstrated leadership will lead to a promotion into a Team Lead role.
