Sales Director IoT

Our client is looking for a senior, strategic sales leader responsible for driving growth across IoT, Smart Manufacturing, Product Engineering, and R&D services within Medical Devices and broader Life Sciences
. This role blends consultative selling
, account strategy
, and executive relationship management to shape client transformation agendas and expand high‑value engineering and digital programs.

• Medical Device R&D Sales Strategy — Build and execute targeted go‑to‑market plans for Med Tech clients.
• End‑to‑End Deal Ownership — Lead opportunity creation, solutioning, proposals, and closure.
• P&L & Growth Leadership — Drive revenue, TCV, profitability, and account expansion.
• IoT & Engineering Program Governance — Oversee multi‑million‑dollar IoT and product engineering initiatives.
• Executive Relationship Management — Engage C‑suite, R&D heads, and manufacturing leaders.
• Cross‑Functional Solutioning — Partner with delivery, HR, operations, and engineering teams.

• 14+ years overall; 10+ years in sales/business development in Product Engineering, Manufacturing, or Industrial Automation

• Strong track record selling into Med Tech, Bio Pharma, and Life Sciences
  .
• Deep knowledge of Medical Device Manufacturing
  , Smart Product Development
  , R&D Engineering
  , and end‑to‑end device lifecycle
  .
• Technical fluency across IoT, Embedded/Device Engineering, Edge Intelligence, PLM, networking, and system integration
  .
• Proven ability to manage large consulting engagements and complex stakeholder ecosystems.

• Understanding of GxP
  , regulatory environments, and compliance.
• Experience across multiple Life Sciences verticals.
• Awareness of emerging digital trends in IoT
