Position: Client Advisor, Founders School - $400,000/year USD

Building long-term relationships with individuals whose net worth reaches into the billions—and earning their confidence around one of the most consequential decisions they will make for their child—is the essence of this role. If your default approach is to "manage applicants" or "optimize a pipeline," this position will not suit you. If your instinct is to take full ownership of a relationship over multiple years, this may prove to be the most rewarding role of your career.

Founders School is a four-year high school where students launch genuine businesses targeting $1M in profit before they graduate. Annual tuition stands at $150K, backed by a guarantee: $1M in profit by graduation, or full tuition refunded. The program will open in New York City in Fall 2026 with an inaugural class of 20 students, with plans to scale toward 1,000.

Our families rank among the most accomplished and exacting in the world—many hold net worths ranging from hundreds of millions to billions of dollars. Every one of those relationships, from initial contact through enrollment and well beyond, must be owned by someone.

This role resembles managing investor relations at a premier fund far more than it does overseeing admissions at a traditional private school. You will steward a portfolio of high-net-worth prospects, guide them through a rigorous evaluation process, support them in making a significant commitment, and then sustain the relationship over years so that trust deepens: families re-enroll, enroll additional children, and refer peers.

What

You Will Be Doing
  • Taking full ownership of the pipeline of qualified prospective families—every lead, whether it arrives inbound, surfaces at an event, or comes by referral, becomes a meaningful relationship with you at its core. This means regular calls, considered follow-up, and serving as the person who either holds the answer to any question, large or small, or secures it quickly.
  • Organizing events that convene prospective and enrolled families, ranging from larger informational sessions to more private dinners and social gatherings.
  • Shepherding families through the application and diligence journey—articulating the school's model, the guarantee, and the trajectory, and moving them from curiosity to enrollment without resorting to high-pressure tactics.
  • Maintaining warmth across the entire family ecosystem—those still deciding, those already enrolled, and those whose younger siblings may join later. Proactive outreach ensures families hear from you before they need to reach out.
  • Serving as the human embodiment of Founders School for these families, and constructing the replicable relationship-and-enrollment framework that enables the program to operate and expand.
  • Collaborating directly with the school heads who lead the most senior-level conversations initially, while you establish the operational foundation beneath them.

Much like a fund, the calendar follows two distinct rhythms: an active season during which you cultivate relationships with prospective families and guide them toward commitment, and a maintenance season during which you keep enrolled families engaged, proactively informed, and satisfied enough to renew their trust and bring others into the fold.

What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Selling. There is no commission structure, no quota, and no aggressive closing. If a family perceives pressure, we have not succeeded. You are not a sales professional; you are the individual they trust most throughout this decision.
  • Managing selectivity. Traditional admissions centers on rejecting applicants at institutions with 4% acceptance rates. We are constructing something new and persuading exceptional families to place their confidence in it.
  • Transferring families to others and vanishing. The relationship does not conclude at the deposit—it marks the start of a multi-year engagement you continue to own.
  • Becoming buried in logistics. Scheduling, documentation, and enrollment administration are managed by operations. Your attention remains focused on families.
