Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts seeks a Seasonal Part-Time Senior Sales Associate to support our mission of music education in a high-energy retail environment. You'll greet customers, assess musical needs, and recommend band, orchestra, and combo instruments, rentals, and accessories. Responsibilities include processing sales, rentals, and lesson enrollments, maintaining merchandising standards, and supporting in-store events. You'll collaborate with teachers, students, and parents, provide excellent service, and help meet sales goals while working a flexible, seasonal schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a retail music store environment
• Recommend instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons based on customer needs
• Process sales, rentals, returns, and lesson enrollments accurately
• Maintain merchandising, signage, and product displays
• Support store promotions and in-store events
• Collaborate with educators, students, and parents to support music education
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals
• Handle basic customer issues and escalate complex concerns as needed
• Operate POS systems and manage basic cash handling
• Work a flexible, seasonal schedule including evenings and weekends
