Technical Sales Engineer | Packaging Automation & Industrial Systems

Dartronics is seeking a motivated Technical Sales Engineer to develop and grow a high-potential territory.

This is a true hunter role. You'll build your own pipeline, develop new customer relationships, and directly impact your income through uncapped commissions. You'll have the freedom to manage your territory like your own business while leveraging the resources, reputation, and technical expertise of a respected company with more than 30 years of success.

You'll work with manufacturers to improve productivity through packaging and manufacturing automation, labeling, coding, and industrial printing solutions. Our engineering and integration teams provide the technical expertise and support needed to help you close and successfully implement complex projects.

• Develop and grow a high-potential sales territory by building new customer relationships and creating long-term business opportunities.
• Develop relationships with plant managers, operations leaders, engineering teams, and executive decision-makers.
• Prospect daily through cold calling, email outreach, Linked In networking, and in-person visits. Consistently follow up on projects and proposals while maintaining activity, opportunities, and next steps in ACT CRM.
• Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
• Meet with manufacturers to understand their operations and uncover areas for process improvement.
• Present and sell packaging automation, labeling, coding, and industrial printing solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to develop customized solutions.
• Negotiate pricing, close deals, and coordinate with engineering and project management through implementation.
• Represent Dartronics at trade shows, industry events, and customer facilities.

• Proven success in business development, prospecting, and new account acquisition.
• Experience selling engineered solutions, packaging equipment, industrial machinery, automation systems, or other technical capital equipment and solutions.
• Ability to identify manufacturing challenges and develop value-driven automation solutions that deliver measurable operational improvements.
• Strong communication, presentation, and closing skills.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven mindset.
• Ability to independently manage and grow a territory.
• Willingness to travel within territory.
• Must live in South New Jersey
