The Physical Security Officer in Charge (PS-OIC) is a front-line supervisor responsible for leading and supporting physical security officer teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The PS-OIC ensures adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and practices, and plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing site security operations. This role involves managing teams and schedules, coaching/training, and delivering high-end customer service.
The PS-OIC must ensure the protection of people, information, and property. PS-OICs represent the front line of our security services and may work in various settings, including medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues, and public events.
Essential Functions:
- Deliver high-end customer service
- Ensure team adherence to SOPs, policies, and practices
- Update Client Relations Manager on best practices and SOP changes
- Manage teams of PSOs
- Manage schedules and approve payroll
- Complete and review daily logs and incident reports
- Conduct on-the-job training
- Build and maintain professional rapport with clients, guests, and coworkers
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills /
Qualifications:
- Two years of face-to-face customer service experience
- Two years of supervisory/management experience
- Experience in security, military, or law enforcement training
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient time management and leadership skills
- Reliable transportation
- Extensive use of force knowledge
- Proactive problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain state-required security officer license and certifications (SORA, OCAT, PATH, PPBT)
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening, and OPS training requirements
Physical Requirements /

- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Ability to wear a uniform
