Mall Security Officer

Securitas seeks a professional Mall Security Officer to protect shoppers, tenants, and property at a busy Edison, NJ mall. In this high-visibility role, you will patrol interior and exterior areas, monitor CCTV and access points, respond to incidents, and support emergency procedures. You'll provide courteous customer service, enforce site rules, write clear incident reports, and collaborate with local authorities when needed.

Responsibilities

• Patrol mall interior and exterior areas to deter theft, vandalism, and unsafe behavior
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access points to identify security or safety issues
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and medical emergencies per site procedures
• Enforce mall policies, rules, and regulations professionally and consistently
• Provide customer service and directions to shoppers, tenants, and visitors
• Write clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Liaise with mall management and local law enforcement when required
• Conduct safety inspections and report hazards or maintenance concerns
• Support evacuation and emergency response protocols
• Participate in required security and safety training programs
