• Follow the prescribed training to become a BPI Certified Building Analyst, then an Energy Auditor in the States of PA and NJ, to obtain the Quality Control Inspector Certification.
• Blow in insulation and perform weatherization tasks such as air sealing.
• Perform various technical tests: blower door, static pressure, heating system efficiency.
• Assess and document the condition of the thermal envelope.
• Educate the client to obtain energy savings where possible.
• Identify health and safety dangers and mitigate as appropriate.
• Install energy-saving products, such as light bulbs and low-flow devices.
• Meter appliances for possible replacement.
• Perform energy savings functions such as reducing water temperature where appropriate.
• Communicate with clients and document information gathered at the energy audit in field and written/computer formats as required.
• Write work order specifications for the Synergy3 team members.
• Inspect work to ensure conformity with the work order.

• 0 to 1 year of relevant industry experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• BPI Certification preferred; ability to obtain certification within 3–6 months, training will be provided.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends when needed.
• Well-spoken with a positive attitude; comfortable with in-home consulting.
• Adaptive mentality and the ability to learn quickly.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and no history of major driving infractions.

• Able to work in different weather conditions, including extreme hot and cold weather.
• Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
• Crawl, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or reach, often in crawl spaces and under mobile homes.
• Use repetitive hand motions and basic hand/power tools.
• Use a ladder at various heights (up to 3 stories).
• Lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds as needed.

• Full Time
• $25.00 - $32.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
