Field Service Technician – NJ | 1st Shift

Our client, an innovative leader in clean energy technology, is seeking a Field Service Technician to support the Fuel Cell Systems team in NJ.

Remote (Required to travel within 1 hour radius of Edison, NJ)

Pay Range: $35-$36 per hour + 10% shift differential.
Vehicle: Company vehicle provided.
Work Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or Sunday – Thursday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.

• Provide on-site support, service, and maintenance for fuel cell systems during field visits.
• Operate service vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Create daily workflows based on scheduled tasks and work autonomously.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, testing, and diagnostics on equipment.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers while producing detailed service reports.

• High school diploma with 6 years of experience in electrical, process controls, or electro‑mechanical fields, or a technical diploma with relevant industry experience.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work (OSHA, NFPA 70E).
• Experience working with three‑phase systems, UPS, electrical generation, and distribution systems.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and blueprints, and perform equipment maintenance according to industry standards.
