Emergency Vehicle Installation Technician

We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and detail‑oriented mindset to join our Edison team as an Emergency Vehicle Installation Technician.

• Remove factory‑installed interior and exterior vehicle components.
• Install emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more.
• Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems.
• Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
• Organize tools and inventory.

• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude or hands‑on experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.

• Experience with 12V electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics or wiring diagrams.

Entry‑level candidates with hands‑on experience are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.

• $20–$30 per hour based on experience.
