Low Voltage Data Technician

Summary: The Low Voltage Data Technician is responsible for managing low voltage systems, including alarm systems, telecommunications, audio/visual setups, access control, and automation devices. Duties involve reading blueprints, installing wiring and equipment, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM, two Saturdays a month 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Compensation: $22-25 per hour, overtime 1.5x, annual $55,
Responsibilities- Installing, servicing and integrating a variety of low voltage systems to include Intrusion Alarms, Video Surveillance, Card Access, Telephone Systems, Data Networks and more.
- Answer basic customer inquiries after training by MSI.
- Travel domestically to other MSI locations with expenses paid by the company.
- Manage updates to MSI systems.
- Perform additional duties as required or requested.
- 1 year of Low Voltage Data Technician experience.
- High School Education or equivalent required.
- Comfortable traveling within the US for 10 to 15 weeks per year.
- Ability to use a computer or tablet is a plus.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
