Position SummaryAs a Garage Door Installer you’ll receive training so that you can be up and running quickly with your own company vehicle and a stream of customers. We will train and provide you with all the necessary tools to grow your career as far as you want to take it. You will be front and center helping our customers by repairing, replacing, and installing garage doors.
You’ll put the customers at ease, making sure they fully understand the service options available that’ll get the job done correctly.

- Diagnose and repair garage doors, door operators, and related equipment; replace worn or broken parts and install new equipment including doors and springs.
- Educate the customer – explain options to repair and prevent future issues; review completed work with the customer.
- Sell services, repairs, and new equipment using a proven model; collect payment from the customer.
- Manage inventory in your vehicle – maintain the right tools, equipment, and products.
- Maximize your time by fully addressing the customer’s needs and offering the best solutions, so you can control your income.
- Deliver quality work – get the job done right the first time.
- Provide excellent customer experience – customers leave glowing reviews.
- Commit to safety – drive and work safely.
Position Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
- Ability to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work in hot or cold conditions, both inside and outside garages.
- Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and solve issues.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Reliability and adherence to our process.
- Experience in the garage door industry is preferred but not required – we will train you.
- Comfortable using computers and/or tablets.
- Skilled with hand tools and mechanical equipment.
