Field Service Technician I in Clifton, NJ. The role supports field service activities, helps retailers and restaurants with on-site installations and service, and delivers solutions that build long-term relationships with customers.

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service electromechanical equipment such as self-checkout systems within an assigned territory.
• Perform maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance (PM) work, and system overhauls.
• Triage and communicate with customers to identify the right solutions and provide first-line responses.
• Coordinate with NCR Voyix training resources to apply formal training and best practices in the field.
• Travel locally to service locations, organize work, and ensure service quality to meet customer expectations.

• Local candidate to specific geographic area.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that satisfies NCR fleet requirements.
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with hardware and operating systems.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to undertake prolonged travel with driving several hours per day.
• Flexible shift work with rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, evening) including some holidays.
• Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment up to 75 lbs. without assistance, up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
• Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and repetitive manipulation of objects of varying sizes.
• Willingness to be trained on and operate small-scale scissor lifts in retail environments to service or replace networking equipment (e.g., access points, switches).

• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.
• A+ Certification, CompTIA Network+ or similar.
• One or more years of related experience.

Salary range: $38,900.00 – $58,300.00. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, life and vision insurance, short/long term disability, paid vacation, 401(k).

Pay and benefits details:
Hourly pay range and overtime availability; 7 paid holidays and 6 paid floating holidays; 80 hours of paid vacation in the first year; company-provided vehicle for business use; and retirement plan options.
