Position Overview

The Operations Field Manager will be responsible for supervising and guiding a team of technicians in responding to property damage caused by water or mold. This role requires a proven ability to manage operations efficiently, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintain excellent customer relations. A strong knowledge of construction practices and jobsite safety protocols is essential. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail‑oriented, and highly skilled in both the technical and leadership aspects of mitigation work.

You'll Do

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the mitigation team to achieve operational excellence and exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Oversee mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship and on‑time completion
  • Conduct on‑site inspections and provide hands‑on leadership when needed
  • Direct crews in the field and ensure proper construction and mitigation methods are followed
  • Develop and improve operational workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues quickly, and ensure customer expectations are exceeded
  • Hire, onboard, train, and mentor new team members
  • Conduct ongoing performance evaluations and provide coaching for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to coordinate staffing, equipment, and project resources
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure equipment is properly maintained and available
  • Review construction plans, scopes of work, and project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and industry best practices
  • Provide operational support during emergency situations, including after‑hours response when needed
  • Monitor job costing, resource allocation, and operational performance
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 2–5 years of management experience in construction, restoration, or a related industry
  • Previous mitigation and restoration industry experience preferred
  • Hands‑on construction experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, job costing, and resource management
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and project documentation
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
