Refrigeration & Small Appliance Technician

Morey's Piers & Resorts, a leading family recreation destination in Southern New Jersey, is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Refrigeration & Small Appliance Technician
. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: processing and completing work orders; installing new refrigeration and appliance equipment systems; troubleshooting mechanical failures and performing equipment maintenance on all refrigeration and appliance equipment; and advising on equipment upgrades and alternate cooling units.

Minimum technical requirements include:

• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
• 5-10 years of experience as a Refrigeration Technician is preferred; HVAC experience also a plus.
• Braising and soldering skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, compliance schematics, and work plans.
• Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills, including fixing defective/broken products and ordering replacement parts.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Physical requirements include working in confined spaces; lifting equipment and other items up to 75lbs., unassisted; able to climb stairs and work at varied elevations including rooftops; able to perform physical work including standing, walking, crawling, pushing, bending, and stooping; able to work in varying weather (rain, wind, cold temperatures, direct sunlight or high heat and humidity).

This position is a full time, year-round role based in Wildwood, NJ offering a competitive hourly wage ($32-$44).
