360 is sourcing qualified candidates for a Field Appliance Repair Technician position with our client based in Edison, New Jersey. Our client is an established organization specializing in residential and commercial appliances.

The Field Appliance Repair Technician will travel to customer locations to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair appliances while providing professional, high-quality technical support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on appliance repair experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer service skills.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial appliances at customer locations.
• Use knowledge of appliance components and parts to identify problems and complete repairs efficiently.
• Disassemble appliances to recover usable parts when necessary.
• Communicate with management regarding malfunctioning equipment, recommended repairs, and service status.
• Research technical issues, isolate contributing factors, and determine appropriate solutions.
• Explain appliance issues and repair solutions to customers in a clear and professional manner.
• Follow established standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and internal processes.
• Stay informed about new appliance models, replacement parts, product changes, and technical updates.
• Provide hands-on repair assistance for in-house projects as needed.
• Complete service documentation accurately and promptly.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

• Technical diploma or associate degree in electronics, appliance repair, or a related field preferred.
• At least one year of technical experience, preferably as an appliance repair technician.
• Knowledge of residential or commercial appliance components and repair procedures.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and technical support abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple service calls and prioritize assignments effectively.
• Ability to work independently in the field and collaborate with an internal team.
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.

• Appliance repair or closely related technical experience:
  At least one year
