A. Supervisor of Adult Community Support Services

It provides services to infants, children, and adults with developmental and related disabilities. NJID offers specialized facilities, programs, and support throughout New Jersey. • Provide day-to-day supervision of Employment Specialists & Individual Support Workers.
• Develop a working knowledge of the standards the agency & funding entity sets.
• Review and approve service reports according to DVRS/DDD standards & requirements.
• Develop employer contacts for successful job placements & collaborations.
• Plan, develop & implement service plans.
• Provide weekly and monthly field monitoring, ensuring quality support is provided.
• Maintain appropriate correspondence with families, community agencies, employers, and other stakeholders.
• Assist supervisor with any special projects/grants as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in human service-related field and at least 2 years of experience working with persons with disabilities providing employment support.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license is in good standing & must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance.
• Strong organizational, written and communication skills.
