Sr. Programmer Analyst

Xoriant Corporation in Edison, NJ is seeking applications for the following position:

Job Duties: Analyze and document computer application programs and apply best technical and programming techniques to evaluate business requirement documents (BRD), Corrective Action Plan (CAP) with existing system/functionality and the feasibility to accommodate the features/changes requested by the business team within the application. Propose best technical solution for the requirement, considering the stability, security, scalability, maintainability and cost efficiency. Prepare technical document, solution design documents as per the standard technical documentations.

Drive the software development process through Test-Driven Development (TDD) mythology, preparing Junit test case. CI/CD Jenkins job integration for test suite execution for each code check-in into Bit Bucket to ensure change doesn’t break other functionality. Develop self-healing, crash detection, and take preventive steps, gracefully handling failures using reactive programming to ensure the system is up and running. Formulate plans outlining steps required to develop programs using structured analysis and design in addition to preparing flowcharts and diagrams to convert project specifications into detailed instructions and logical steps for coding into languages processed by computers.

Develop application that is security complied to be integrated with on premise cloud (Private Cloud) and Public Cloud (Google Cloud Platform). Plan and execute client application migration from legacy platform to cloud platform with zero or minimal service impact. Database table schema designing for application, creating database store procedures for applications. Write shell script for automating manual steps required in the application, monitoring of system logs, and cross environment load testing of applications.

Prepare proper release note with instructions to guide operating personnel during production runs. Analyze, review, and rewrite programs to increase operating efficiency or to adapt program to new requirements by and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic. Organize and conduct SCRUM sprint planning and successfully execute the sprints thereby meeting client expectations and delivering projects on time.

Job Requirements: Require Bachelor's Degree or Foreign Equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Systems or related field. Require five years of experience in job offered, Technical Lead, Software Consultant or related. Must have at least four years of experience in Java, Spring Framework, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Open Shift, Docker, Apache Cassandra, MongoDB, PHP, Tibco EMS. Require travel/relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
