On-Site Logistics Coordinator — Job Type: Full-time;
On-site

• Coordinate and dispatch carriers on all managed transportation accounts
• Develop and maintain relationships with dedicated (contracted) carriers and monitor tender acceptance compliance
• Maintain relationships with other brokers to build additional capacity in high volume lanes
• Perform daily operational tasks such as creating and releasing orders and assigning carriers to open shipments
• Proactively communicate issues to internal and external stakeholders and provide real time solutions as needed
• Collaborate with brokerage leadership to source new carrier partners into the network
• Assist with status and tracking updates as requested
• Perform other assigned operational tasks as assigned by brokerage leadership

• 1 to 3 years of transportation experience, ideally at a reputable 3PL or brokerage
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to problem solve and escalate issues in a timely manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Dependable, likeable and a team player
• Working knowledge of MS Office suite of products and TMS a plus
