Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Over-the-Road (OTR) Driver to transport freight across long distances, for mileage-based positions with dedicated outbound routes from Edison, New Jersey. Drivers have the ability to choose steady, long-haul lanes to North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Virginia, New Hampshire, Indiana, or Illinois. Responsibilities- Operate company‑owned tractor‑trailers safely and efficiently on long‑haul routes.
- Run dedicated outbound lanes from Edison, NJ to one of your chosen destinations.
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- Conduct routine pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs through ELDs.
- Communicate with dispatch to ensure smooth trip execution.
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum of 2 years of over‑the‑road driving experience
- Good driving record with no major violations
- Must pass DOT drug screen and physical.
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service.
