Delivery Driver

Job Overview

As a Delivery Driver for Omnicare Pharmacy, you will deliver prescription orders and/or products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule in a company‑provided vehicle. Delivery Drivers ensure that all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients and demonstrate ethical conduct while maintaining patient confidentiality.

• Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products and supplies to long‑term care facilities or patients’ homes.
• Load products/materials efficiently and safely.
• Maintain the vehicle and report any maintenance issues to management.
• Ensure full compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations, including HIPAA.
• Maintain the highest professional and ethical standards at all times.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Geographical knowledge of the service area.
• Current, valid driver’s license for the vehicle operation level.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
• Ability to drive for long periods of time.
• Customer service orientation.

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver.
• Experience as a limo driver, taxi/bus driver, courier or gig‑economy driver.

• Sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.
• Stand or sit 7‑10 hours per day.
• Lift up to 25 pounds.
• Finger dexterity to operate office equipment.
• Visual acuity for reading fine prints; close vision, color vision and focus adjustment required.
• Ability to hear normal voice sounds.
• May need to work extended hours as required.

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

40 hours per week, full time.

Typical pay range: $16.00 - $28.84 per hour.
