We are a well-established janitorial and building maintenance supplies distribution company serving commercial customers throughout the region. We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Assistant Warehouse Supervisor to help oversee daily warehouse operations and support our delivery logistics. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong warehouse experience who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role.

The Assistant Warehouse Supervisor works closely with warehouse leadership to ensure efficient operations, accurate order fulfillment, proper truck loading, and smooth daily logistics. This role requires a proactive individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. While prior supervisory experience is not required, strong warehouse experience is essential.

• Warehouse Operations
  • Assist in supervising daily warehouse activities
  • Coordinate picking, packing, and staging of orders
  • Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and organization
  • Monitor product flow and warehouse efficiency
  • Help enforce safety policies and warehouse procedures
  • Train and support warehouse staff as needed
• Shipping & Logistics
  • Assist in planning and routing delivery trucks
  • Support daily logistics coordination
  • Ensure proper loading of trucks for safe and efficient delivery
  • Verify order accuracy prior to dispatch
  • Communicate with drivers regarding routes and delivery schedules
• Equipment & Yard Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (if certified)
  • Assist with loading trucks (up to 26-foot straight trucks)
  • Be comfortable moving and positioning trucks within the parking lot/yard area (not a road driving position)

• Required:
  • Previous warehouse experience (distribution environment preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment
  • Basic computer skills (inventory systems, email, spreadsheets)
  • Ability to drive up to a 26-foot straight truck within the yard
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license
• Preferred (but not required):
  • Experience in janitorial, maintenance, or distribution supply industries
  • Forklift certification
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS)

Full-time position. Some flexibility with hours. Occasional early start or late end times depending on delivery schedule.
