Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Port Reading, New Jersey. The role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.
Pay & Schedule- Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour
- Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 10:00 am – 6:30 pm
- Products handled:
Pieces of furniture - Equipment used:
Cherry Picker/Reach Truck, Hand Dolly, RF Scanner

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- At least one year of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
- Valid Forklift Operator's License

- Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs

- Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and truck loading/unloading
- Handle day-to-day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
- Perform other duties as assigned
