Position Overview
This is a regular student clerical position in which the student will perform computer and customer service-related duties in an office setting. Typical duties may include but are not limited to typing, filing, answering telephones, customer service, scheduling appointments, and Microsoft Office experience.
Hours per WeekUp to 25 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters.
Up to 35 hours per week during the summer semesters.
Scheduled Monday-Friday, between 8am-5pm.
The School of Criminal Justice is one of the oldest criminal justice programs in the State of Oklahoma. The School has approximately 500 majors spanning 5 academic programs. Our offices are located in the Communications building on campus. The School of Criminal Justice is part of the College of Liberal Arts.
Department Specific Job FunctionsIn addition to the clerical job duties, the student employee will assist with our annual recruitment event, CJ Day. Data entry and editing in the CJ Major Hub. Creation of welcome packets for prospective students, new graduate students, and those taking graduate comprehensive exams.
Qualifications/Experience Preferred- Experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.
