As a Lube Technician, you'll perform essential vehicle maintenance services that help keep customers safe on the road while learning from experienced technicians and industry professionals.
You'll gain real‑world experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models while building the skills needed to advance into Certified Technician and Main Line Technician roles.
We're looking for dependable, motivated individuals who enjoy working with their hands, take pride in quality work, and are eager to learn and grow. No extensive automotive experience is required, just a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to develop new skills.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, fluid exchanges, filter replacements, and tire rotations while adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Conduct comprehensive multi‑point inspections to identify maintenance needs and help ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and performance.
- Inspect key vehicle components including tires, brakes, batteries, belts, hoses, filters, and fluid systems.
- Accurately document inspection findings, recommended services, and completed work using dealership technology and digital reporting tools.
- Communicate vehicle conditions and maintenance recommendations to Service Advisors to support an exceptional customer experience.
- Safely operate and, when necessary, road‑test vehicles to verify service quality and ensure repairs meet dealership standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment while properly caring for tools, equipment, and customer vehicles.
- Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and manufacturer procedures to promote a safe and efficient workplace.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to expand technical knowledge and advance within the service department.
- Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a customer‑first attitude while contributing to the success of the dealership.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver license.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems (engine, brakes, tires, fluids)
- Ability to perform routine maintenance services, including:
- Oil and filter changes
- Tire rotation and pressure checks
- Fluid checks and top‗offs (transmission, coolant, brake, power steering)
- Battery testing and replacement
- Visual inspections of belts, hoses, and filters
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
- Ability to follow manufacturer and shop service procedures
In addition to competitive compensation, we offer:
- Hourly Pay Range: $16.00–$17.00 per hour
- Pay Type:
Non‖exempt, hourly position - Compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications
- Overtime:
Paid in accordance with federal and state law for hours worked over 40 in a workweek. - 4 Day Work Week
