Fixed Operations Consultant

A dynamic role that blends operational management, execution, and coaching to elevate dealership performance. Responsibilities include developing action plans, analyzing dealership gaps, and driving change via customized coaching solutions.

• Collaborate with Account Management and other operational roles to diagnose, analyze, and create action plans to improve dealership performance.
• Present findings, build relationships at all dealership levels, and implement changes with dealership management support.
• Develop and improve operational solutions in collaboration with Regional Operational Managers and extended team.
• Communicate analyses and strategic plans to Account Management and operational teams, delivering dealership actions, challenges, and opportunities.
• Participate in regional meetings and leverage Carline Specialists and centralized resources as needed.
• Implement Dealer Tire solutions that match dealership needs and maximize opportunities.
• Manage all activity tracking and account information in Salesforce; submit timely update reports, itineraries, and expense reports.
• Complete service lane assessments; analyze and diagnose dealership gaps and drivers (e.g., inventory diagnostics, inspection process, selling strategies).
• Interpret dealer data to identify opportunities and determine action; develop product screen recommendations and determine implementation strategy.
• Work with dealership to establish retail pricing strategies and understand dealer compensation plans.
• Create and execute customized coaching solutions to improve dealership personnel performance across all areas.
• Assist personnel with tools (DRSG) to present tire and maintenance options and sell conclusively, explaining program value added items.
• Assess competitive market and conduct mystery shops; demonstrate the value of a successful inspection process and assist dealers in achieving success.
• Partner with service advisors to develop their sales skills and support increasing service lane sales.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in dealership or automotive service operations.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency at intermediate level with all Microsoft Office products.
• Meet the requirements of Dealer Tire’s Motor Vehicle Record Policy and Company Vehicle Fleet Policy.
