Substitute teachers are responsible for providing instruction and managing classroom environments in the absence of the regular staff. Substitute teachers are required to perform all of the regular staff duties for whom they are substituting and typically report to the principal at the assigned location.
QualificationsYou must submit an online application, complete an OSBI fingerprint background clearance check, attend a 22–23 training session (dates and times on our website), complete online GCN training modules annually, and be at least 21 years of age to substitute at Deer Creek High School.
Working ConditionsNormal classroom environment.
