Adjunct Instructor, Human Anatomy or Physiology Labs (2025‑2026) – PTT
Position Summary:
Under the general direction and supervision of the Program Chair, the Adjunct Lab Instructor is responsible for instructing students in Anatomy and Physiology labs according to curriculum and experience.
- Facilitate labs in assigned subject areas according to course objectives; utilize a variety of instructional strategies.
- Provide student evaluation and record‑keeping; administer labs and evaluation instruments, maintain accurate records, assist in data gathering.
- Manage classes; develop, revise, and maintain classroom policies.
- Perform other teaching‑related functions; use computer as an instructional tool for reading and writing skills; prepare reports for supplies, schedules, and orders.
- Promote and support diversity and organizational goals.
- Maintain lab safety.
- Work varied days, hours, shifts, and locations as required.
- Current knowledge and ability to teach/facilitate science labs.
- Ability to develop and incorporate teaching strategies and techniques.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with colleagues, staff, students, and supervisors from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to explain and demonstrate job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or Chemistry.
- Laboratory experience.
