About Kid Strong – Kid Strong is a milestone accelerator for children up to 11 years old that helps parents build stronger, smarter, and more athletic kids. We discover each child’s superpowers and coach brain, physical, and character development through a science‑based curriculum designed for parent-focused learning.

• Camp coach with an athletic or coaching background; experience with summer camps or coaching children aged 4‑9 preferred
• Deliver the Kid Strong curriculum focused on brain, physical, and character development
• Communicate with parents/guardians about any incidents that occur during camp
• Camps run when school is out, 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (may vary by location); availability during these hours required
• Opportunity to increase hours through private party coaching and Kid Strong class coaching (may require additional training)

• Manage camps with up to 20 children aged 4‑11
• Teach the Kid Strong curriculum as directed by the HQ programming team
• Ensure camps start and end on schedule and maintain proper pacing
• Welcome students and their parents/guardians upon arrival
• Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor
• Demonstrate and manage various exercises, ensuring proper technique and safety
• Keep accurate attendance records at all times
• Clean and maintain the center, including lobby, bathrooms, floors, trash, and equipment; sanitize mats at shift end
• Use the KS Coach’s App to record class data and provide attendance and awards reports to parents
• Communicate professionally with co‑workers via Slack and other messaging systems
• Complete required training through Learn Upon, as directed by the HQ Training and Certification team
• Work in a physically intensive environment, moving equipment up to 25 pounds and covering multiple miles per shift
• Provide hands‑on instruction to ensure proper technique and student safety
• Attend mandatory staff meetings as required by the Kid Strong Director
• Obtain camp‑certified status from the HQ Training and Certification team
• Ensure the well‑being of all children through supervision, safety, and program implementation

• Passion for working with children is non‑negotiable
• Prior coaching experience with the appropriate Kid Strong age group preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics preferred
• CPR certification required
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Self‑starter who gets the job done
• Comfortable in a spotlight position (lead an activity or present to parents)

Compensation: $100.00 per day
