Summary:
Leads and directs the Early Childhood Ministries, planning and executing all functions essential to create and sustain safe and viable ministries.
- Passionate about early childhood children and helping them learn about Jesus.
- Develops Victory Church culture of Early Childhood Ministry.
- Recruits and develops Early Childhood volunteer leaders and teams.
- Empowers volunteer leaders.
- Ensures all Early Childhood classrooms are appropriately staffed for all gatherings, special events, and as requested.
- Check in with Early Childhood classrooms prior to worship gatherings and assist/teach classroom lessons as needed.
- Builds and maintains meaningful relationships with parents, families, and children, offering consistent care, communication, and support that extends beyond weekly gatherings.
- Greets parents and children as they enter the VKids building.
- Implements and champions Victory Church’s Next Gen strategy within Early Childhood, ensuring existing curriculum and resources are executed with consistency, clarity, and excellence across volunteers.
- Attends leadership meetings as directed.
- Maintains departmental budgets.
- Plans activities as needed for ministry areas.
- Maintains correct information in Church databases (i.e., Planning Center).
Any paid childcare teams will report directly to the Early Childhood Coordinator.
Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience; and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
