Financial Analyst – Edmond, Oklahoma

M – F (8am to 4:30pm)

This is a fully on-site position. You must be able commute to the Edmond office.
Summary:
The Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making and financial performance management at the Association. This position is primarily responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities with additional responsibilities in treasury-related analysis and accounting/financial reporting support. The ideal candidate combines analytical capabilities and software proficiencies with solid knowledge of the financial services industry, accounting and financial reporting standards, and best practices in modeling.
Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis
- Leads the annual budgeting process, multi-year forecasting, and monthly forecasts
- Develops and maintains financial models to support strategic initiatives, capital planning, and scenario analysis
- Analyzes financial performance, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods
- Assesss models and reports for weaknesses or potential improvements and apply appropriate solutions or enhancements
- Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends and their driving factors.
- Prepares executive-level reporting packages, dashboards, and board materials
- Partners with Association leaders to provide actionable insights into profitability, cost management, and growth opportunities
- Fulfills other ad hoc or routine planning, analytical, and reporting requests as needed
- Develops and maintains pricing and profitability models at the enterprise, business unit, and transactional level, incorporating cost of funds, credit risk, and capital allocation
- Analyzes equity positioning and interest rate risk
- Supports loan pricing activities
- Provides analytical support for ALCO reporting and decision-making.
- Assists in monthly and quarterly financial close processes, including review of financial results and explanations of variances
- Supports preparation of internal financial statements and regulatory reports
- Partners with Accounting to ensure consistency between management reporting and GAAP financials.
- Supports implementation and documentation of accounting policies and internal controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (Required)
- 3-5+ years of experience in FP&A, banking finance, treasury, or accounting roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
- CPA or CFA preferred but not required
