The Physical Care Health Team at HMP Lincoln, are seeking a dynamic enthusiastic experienced Physical Care Health Nurse to join the team. We are looking for someone who enjoys a challenge, can work well within a team and autonomously.

As a Band 5 Physical Health Nurse, you’ll work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to residents. You’ll be involved in emergency response, screening, vaccination clinics, and nurse‑led care delivery across the prison.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, effective, and person‑centred care
- Conducting assessments, triage, and risk evaluations
- Administering medications and maintaining accurate records
- Participating in audits, clinical governance, and service improvement
- Supporting junior staff and contributing to team development

Person Specification Knowledge and experience- RGN on the NMC register
- Experience of working as a Nurse following preceptorship
- Have experience and knowledge of working in a secure environment (desirable but not essential)
- Autonomously assess and manage patient’s care, with example.
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills, ensuring contemporaneous healthcare records are maintained.
- Ability to administer medications, with example.
- Ability to use Systm One
