Orthopedic Technician - Orthopedics - Edmond

Position Details: Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 2 years as orthopedic technician, unless certified as an OTC by the National Board of Certification of Orthopedic Technologists. Previous physician office experience.
• Other:
  Eligible for staff privileges at hospitals where physician/surgeons work. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy and medical terminology. Competency in applying casts and splints and surgical technology.

• Education:
  
  Post-secondary certificate or associate's degree as orthopedic technician from a technology program
• Experience:
  
  3+ years of Orthopedic experience including casting, bracing, splinting, suture removal, pin removal, dressing changes and wound care
• Certifications:
  
  Certified as an OTC by the National Board of Certification
