Speech Language Pathologist

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
• Establish treatment goals and develop and implement Speech Pathology treatment programs based on full clinical evaluations
• Provide rehabilitative services under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patients’ plans of care
• Treat residents one-on-one through private treatment sessions using a functional-based treatment approach
• Deliver personalized therapeutic and rehabilitative care to senior living community residents

• Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills

Demonstrates expertise in evaluating and treating patients with swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and developing personalized treatment programs. Holds a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and a current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
