Position: Financial Coordinator

Compensation: $24+/hour, depending on experience

Location: Edmond, Oklahoma

This is an exciting direct hire opportunity within a growing patient benefits coordination team. In this role, you’ll help support patients through a critical part of their care journey by managing benefits verification, prior authorizations, and financial coordination tasks with accuracy and professionalism. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Verify insurance benefits and eligibility for new and existing patients
Process prior authorizations in a timely manner
Calculate patient responsibility using insurance and pharmacy data
Communicate payment expectations clearly with patients
Review copay assistance and government program eligibility
Process outside infusion referrals
Review payment records and ensure proper fee collection
Manage tasks and communications within the EHR system
Support team operations with excellent patient service

Required Qualifications &

Experience:

2-3 years of experience in medical insurance or benefits verification
Experience with prior authorizations or medical billing
Strong customer service and communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Ability to type 50 words per minute
Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party vendors
Experience working in an EHR system

Nice to Have

Skills & Experience:

Experience in pharmacy, PBM, or specialty pharmacy settings
Knowledge of patient assistance programs
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field
Background in healthcare, business, or finance
Experience handling infusion referrals
Familiarity with compliance-driven healthcare environments
