Housekeeper / Environmental Services Technician

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join a healthcare environmental services team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.

Candidates will be responsible for deep cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, including rooms that have been vacated and require extensive sanitization before new patient occupancy. This role requires strict adherence to infection control procedures, safety standards, and hospital cleaning protocols. Individuals must be comfortable performing physically demanding work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining a professional and customer-focused attitude.

• Deep clean and sanitize non-occupied patient rooms according to hospital standards
• Thoroughly disinfect high-touch surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Make beds, replace linens, and prepare rooms for incoming patients
• Remove soiled linens and transport them to designated collection areas
• Clean and disinfect isolation rooms while following strict infection-control and safety procedures
• Sweep, mop, dust, sanitize, and maintain patient care areas and common spaces

• Previous commercial cleaning experience
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance record
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work assigned schedules, including rotating weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to push carts and equipment weighing up to 200 pounds
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edmond, OK.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
