Multiskilled Shift Engineer – Bourne, Peterborough

Teknikal Specialist Recruitment are recruiting for a multiskilled shift engineer in Bourne, Peterborough.

You will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, diagnosing, and repairing electrical & mechanical faults, and supporting production efficiency across electrical, electronic and some mechanical systems. You'll also play a part in projects, stock management, process improvement, and ensuring high safety standards.

• Apprenticeship or Equivalent within an engineering discipline
• Competent both mechanically and electrically
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings
• Preventative maintenance, Electrical fault finding on PLC's and Motors, AC/DC drives and motors
• A proactive, team-oriented approach and willingness to learn
• Carry out PPM of machines and plant including extruders, moulders, bottle finishing, testing and packing machinery
• Be able to commit to the following weekly rotating shift pattern:
  Mon
  -Thu 6am-4pm, 2pm-12am, 11pm-7am and occasional overtime on Fridays as required
