Moser Automotive – Body Technician About UsMoser Automotive is a high-end restoration and custom shop specializing in 1960s–1980s classic vehicles, with a strong focus on Ford Mustangs and Shelby builds.
We are not a production collision shop. We build complete vehicles from the ground up—metal work, panel replacement, rust repair, bodywork, and full paint preparation at a very high level.

Position OverviewWe are looking for a skilled body technician who can step in and produce quality work without constant supervision.
This is not an entry-level position. You must already know how to do the work.
Responsibilities- Metal repair and rust repair (patch panels, fabrication, etc.)
- Panel replacement (quarters, floors, trunk pans, etc.)
- Bodywork and filler shaping
- Panel alignment and gap setting
- Blocking and prep for primer and paint
- Working alongside paint department to bring vehicles to final stage
- Maintaining clean, organized work areas
- Communicating progress and issues clearly
We need someone who:
- Has real hands‑on experience in bodywork (not just helper work)
- Can complete jobs correctly the first time
- Understands fitment, gaps, and straight panels
- Takes pride in quality — not just getting it “done”
- Can manage their own time and stay productive
- Shows up consistently and works hard
- Works well with a team and respects the shop environment
- 3+ years experience in bodywork (restoration or collision)
- Ability to perform metal work and panel replacement
- Own basic tools required for body work
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Classic car or restoration experience
- Experience with full builds (not just insurance work)
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Ability to lead or help train lower‑level techs
- Steady, consistent work (no shortage of projects)
- High‑end builds — not repetitive insurance jobs
