Location: Edmond/North OKC
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm.
Start date: Could be altered to 6:00am due to presence on manufacturing floor when training is complete.
Days: Monday–Friday.
Additional work: Some extended hours or weekend OT as needed based on business needs.
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, orders, and capacity.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure schedules are feasible and adhered to.
- Monitor production progress and adjust plans as needed to address delays, material shortages, or capacity constraints.
- Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and lead times to support planning decisions.
- Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure materials availability.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Communicate schedule changes and priorities clearly to stakeholders.
- Track and report key performance metrics such as on-time delivery and schedule adherence.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning and production processes.
- Maintain accurate planning data in ERP/MRP systems.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain operations required.
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or high-volume production environments strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM) preferred.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
