The Donor Experience Manager is primarily responsible for supporting the way givers experience the gratitude, opportunities, and events of You Version by planning and executing meaningful donor development experiences. This role delivers projects through thoughtful messaging, creative gifting, and engaging events that connect givers to the vision and impact of the ministry.

The Donor Experience Manager collaborates cross-functionally to manage timelines, goals, and deliverables while ensuring excellence in execution and clear communication with stakeholders. Through strategic partnership, evaluation of key metrics, and hands-on support, this role helps strengthen donor relationships and advance the mission of You Version. The Donor Experience Manager supports the team’s direction, initiatives, and ministry efforts to achieve outcomes that further Life.

What You’ll Do
  • Support and execute initiatives and strategic projects in the areas of content, messaging, gifts, and events for You Version givers.
  • Manage team projects and goals by creating timelines, gathering key takeaways, following up on action items, and executing deliverables, working across You Version support teams.
  • Partner with Donor Operations to execute a donor gifting strategy that thanks givers and conveys impact, including ideation, creative gifting options, messaging, timing, ordering, and excellence in presentation.
  • Help plan and execute donor events and experiences.
  • Manage the expectations of internal stakeholders while providing regular updates on Experience team project milestones and timelines.
  • Track and evaluate key metrics for Experience team to ensure goals, milestones, and deliverables are being met for goals and projects.
  • Collaborate with the Experience, Operations, Generosity, Marketing, and Donor Relations teams to plan and execute projects as needed for Sowers, Major Donors, Foundations, Churches, and key relationships.
  • Provide logistical, relational, and experiential support to donor and church visitors, as needed, supporting the overall goals and actions of the You Version Development team.
  • Act as a team ambassador and represent the church culture within Life.

    Church Central Operations, You Version, Campuses, and to all givers.
Skills Needed to Succeed
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to maintain and foster partnerships.
  • Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve problems with innovation.
  • Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.
  • Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • College degree in a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of related work experience.
